It seems that many in the healthcare and human services field work tirelessly to save lives and stamp out disease and yet receive little or no recognition for their efforts. Well, thanks to the REAL Awards this may all be changing. This year a campaign to recognize domestic and international health workers was initiated by Save the Children Foundation and Frontline Health Workers Coalition. We couldn’t be happier to see our founding director, Donn Kropp being congratulated for his work both within the United States and around the globe by the REAL Awards and former President Bill Clinton. The bottom line is that those of us in the healthcare field are all heroes and worthy of recognition. The day you decided to help others in their most weakest and vulnerable time you were automatically dubbed “Hero”. We not only congratulate Donn Kropp, but the millions of those around the globe who make this world a better place by taking care of those in need.
